Tuxedo Pharaoh Quail
Contact us for availability

Tuxedo Pharaoh Quail are some of the prettier looking quail
we
have. They are a dark chocolate all over except on the chest and
part of the wing area which is pure white. Some of them have a
bib
of white, which occurs occasionally. They are about 4 - 5 inches
high until it the times comes for the male to look for a female and
then
the male stretches up to about 6 - 7 inches and let out a warbling call
to attract a female. Most of the time the male will just chase
the
female down and to heck with calling her to him. The males are
generally
smaller than the females. These make great indoor or outdoor pets
depending on your preference. A sight for anyone to enjoy!
Hatching Eggs:
Hatching eggs are collected several times each day. Each egg is hand
inspected
for shape, size, color, and cracks. We ship eggs warped and protected
from
impact often experienced during shipment. Eggs are sold per dozen.
Please
contact us with your zip code for an estimate on shipping and box fee.
Please note: Because of conditions beyond our control
during
shipment we are unable to guarantee the hatchability of any eggs. All
of
our eggs will ship fresh and
in good condition.
Mature Birds:
These quail average 6 to 12 weeks of age. They are not yet laying eggs
but are ready to be placed in pens indoors out outdoors. Ordering
mature
quail relieves the stress caused death you would see in day old chicks.
Mature birds are also past the pecking stage where there is a high
mortality
rate. Quail are carefully packed in chick shipping boxes with pieces of
fruit to help ensure live arrival at their destination. Please contact
us with your zip code for an estimate on shipping and box fee.
Breeding Trio's:
These trio's are proven breeders. One male with 2 female birds. Hens
will
be proven to have a high egg lay rate of fertile eggs. Please note
however
that after shipping quail it may take up to 4 weeks before the hens
start
laying again. Quail are carefully packed in chick shipping boxes with
pieces
of fruit to help ensure live arrival at their destination. Please
contact
us with your zip code for an estimate on shipping and box fee.
