Chinese Painted Quail (Button Quail)
Availble Year Round

Chinese Button Quail are the smallest quail we offer.  These quail are available in the following varieties: Silver, sliver pearl, silver red breasted, normal, cinnamon, cinnamon red breasted, blue faced, fawn, white, and more.  They are the about the size of  a small sparrow or a finch.  Your best bet is to keep these guys in small pens in a barn or in your house in a normal bird cage.  They will get tame if you handle them enough and they will sit in the palm of your hand.  They like to fly around, make little chirping noises, and try out any small container for a nesting area.  These make ideal pets for a person who likes something small around the house.
